With this series I hope to unveil concerns of innocence, femininity, and blossoming sexuality. Influenced by the works of the Pre-Raphaelites, with particular reference to Ophelia, this series touches on themes of female identity, womanhood, fertility, and to celebrate the womanly figure. By incorporating flowers arranged by the human touch, I aim to visualise the potential sexuality and virginity of young women. Flowers are a typical, universal symbol of life, growth, beauty, and romance.
